Petaluma Wine Dinner at Greens in Cornhill

Recently I spent the afternoon creating the menu and wine pairings for the Petaluma dinner at Greens on Cornhill. Joining me was Matt Roberts from Petaluma and Irek Bielak of Greens.

This process in essence involves tasting all the wines and then having the chef prepare what you believe might be a great match. Ultimately some work whilst others do not and there is always debate as to which are rated top. From this session we really do have some amazing pairings to present.

That's all part of the fun so at the dinner guests will drink two wines with each dish and the floor will be open to comments and debate. Matt will also provide background information on the vineyard and winery as well as hosting a wine options session with prizes.
